Manufacture
Components are manufactured using classic composite techniques in combination with subtractive mechanical processes. This approach delivers high tolerance components with tailored mechanical behavior in terms of strength, stiffness and CTE
Filament winding equipment:
- 2-axis (wet)
- 4-Axis (wet, prepreg) 5m x 1m diameter
Materials
Customised fibre and matrix combinations are used to support the best possible outcome in terms of component performance and process stability.
Validation & Verification
Unique processes deliver unique data sets. Samples and components are meticulously tested in destructive and non-destructive campaigns. The data can be compared with design data and the process is in tern refined.
